The add-on to Act of War: Direct Action takes players back in the war against terrorism.
The main new feature in this add-on are battles on sea. Each faction has access to different ships and even submarines. Mercenaries can also be hired to help defeat the enemy in the new single-player campaign and on the 25 new multiplayer maps.
In addition, this expansion includes two new multiplayer modes: Marine One Down and SCUD Hunt.
In Marine One Down, the goal is to get the president to the Evacuation Zone, which is different for each player. Control of the president is acquired by having a unit within a certain distance of him. In SCUD Hunt, players can't build any tactical or anti-tactical weapon and need to take control of a neutral SCUD-thrower instead.
The add-on also features 50 new units and upgrades for all factions as well as better graphics, a better AI, new multiplayer options and several other minor changes.
